The Conservatori Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” de València (Spain)

The Conservatori Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” de València, or CSMV as we call it, a centre with more than 130 years of existence and a long tradition in higher musical training.

Since its creation in 1879, the CSMV has been one of the leading centres, representing a model for teaching the performing arts in Spain and a true reference in Spanish artistic and musical training, with a big number of musical personalities who throughout history were trained at our centre or were teachers here.We are an institution that promotes teaching, artistic and research activity, open to the new international avant-garde movements in art and to the search for interpretive resources for new creations, but without leaving aside local traditions.
